Luanda, 11 October 2018 – ITA – Internet Technologies Angola, S.A., will create computer rooms with computers and materials to bring internet access to the students of Instituto Médio Industrial de Benguela and Instituto Médio Politécnico de Viana schools.
The 7th ITA Solidarity Golf Tournament that took place on September 1st, had the participation of 21 teams. ITA raised more than 10.000.000,00 AOA, to support computer education to two educational institutions.
During the vote of thanks to the guests and participants, Jaime Ferreira, Managing Director of ITA, demonstrated satisfaction because the company is once again supporting education and development in Angola, guaranteeing more actions to support education and society.
At the gala lunch, the certificates of allocation of computer rooms were delivered to the State Secretary of Technical Professional Education, Doctor Jesus Joaquim Baptista in representation of the selected schools.
ITA will install the equipment and monitor the management and control of the materials.
The winners of the 7th ITA Solidarity Golf Tournament were as follows:
1º Net – Team AQUELE MAMBO;
2ª Net – Team KORAN;
3º Net – Team FRENCH DREAM TEAM.
Each team consisted of four players and 87 player participated in the tournament. the 1º Gross (corresponds to the total number of strokes) was attributed to team TRANSKIBA. The Longest Drive (the longest stroke) was the player Taha Anjawalla and Nearest to the Pin (the ball closest to the hole), was Ho Chul Kim.
